Individual Work
Baton Rouge, LA
Fall, 2015

Las Vegas is a city with one of the most serious water problems. The goal of this mapping research is to find out the water strategies in the city. Las Vegas Wash was experiencing signicant channel erosion from perennial ows of stormwater and wastewater euent from the Las Vegas Valley in 1970s. As of January 2010, more than 22,300 linear feet (4.22 miles) of bank had been protected with rock riprap. Bank protection is currently performed along the Wash as needed.
